The national respect is beginning to come for Colorado football quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who could hear his name called early in next year’s NFL draft with another dominant college season.
Sanders, the youngest son of second-year CU head coach Deion Sanders, will be throwing to an elite group of wide receivers this fall, and if he can stay upright behind the Buffs’ improved offensive line, the senior could lead Colorado to great heights in 2024.
In a preseason ranking of college football’s top quarterbacks, Brad Crawford of 247Sports became the latest national analyst to share their respect for Shedeur. Check out where Colorado’s gunslinger stood in Crawford’s list of college football’s top 10 quarterbacks entering the 2024 season:
10. Drew Allar, Penn State Nittany Lions

With his junior season on deck, Allar is closing in on 3,000 career passing yards. The cautious QB threw only two interceptions last year on 389 passing attempts.
