Michigan State football’s success on the recruiting front continued with another in-state commitment Wednesday.
MSU earned a commitment Wednesday from Justin Bell, a 6-foot-8 offensive tackle from Macomb Dakota in the 2025 class. He’s a three-star prospect ranked as the No. 24 player in Michigan and 90th offensive tackle in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
“1000% committed let’s do it!!” Bell tweeted, announcing his decision.
Bell committed to Michigan State five days after taking an visit to East Lansing. He is the 12 commit so far in Michigan State’s 2025 class, which is comprised of all three-star recruits. He pledged to the Spartans over West Virginia, Indiana, Kansas and other schools.
He is the second Macomb Dakota player committed to MSU in the 2025 class, joining his teammate DiMari Malone, a three-star linebacker who committed in May. MSU now has five in-state commits, also including East Lansing’s Jace Clarizio and the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s duo of Charles White and Jayden Savoury.
Michigan State has picked up three commitments this week, including a pair of three-star defensive backs in Aydan West from Maryland and George Mullins from Florida. The 12-man class currently ranks 53rd in the country according to 247.
