Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy opted to bring running back Ollie Gordon to Big 12 Media Days on Tuesday to hold him accountable for his recent DUI arrest.

When Gundy was later asked about his decision not to suspend his star running back, he commented on his reasoning not only to not suspend him, but also to bring him to Big 12 Media Days.

“Ollie made a decision that he wished he could have done better. But when I talked to Ollie, I told him, ‘You’re lucky you got out light.’ … Nobody got hurt. We see people doing this and losing their lives across the country, not just football players but everybody. So [he] got out lucky.”
