MATT HARMON: Joining me now on behalf of Bounty it is one of, if not the best, wide receiver duos in the NFL. It’s Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.
DEVONTA SMITH: We got our wings.
AJ BROWN: We got our Bounty.
DEVONTA SMITH: This is “Wingman Stores, Spill the Sauce.”
MATT HARMON: I want to give both of you guys an opportunity to talk about Jalen Hurts here for a second. And I’ll start with you, DeVonta. You know, you had a lot of history with Jalen even before you guys got to Philadelphia together. How do you feel like he handled this season and what’s something that I think that the listeners might not know about Jalen that they should know?
DEVONTA SMITH: I think he handled it well. You know, he’s not a guy that really gets into what people think of things like that. And I think that’s the good part about it, is that he can go about his business and not care about what people think of him or how things are going. But I think what people get it kind of messed up at is they think that because he doesn’t want to talk or he doesn’t acknowledge the negativity that people say about him that he’s a stuck up person and all. I mean, that’s just him.
There’s probably a lot of people in the league they probably– you know, they don’t get into the negative thoughts and things like that. And the guys that do get into the negative thoughts, you know, it’s hard on them. It’s tough on them. They kind of let it get in their head and things. So I think people have a lot of thoughts about him that are completely wrong just because he doesn’t let, you know, negativity gets to him.
MATT HARMON: AJ, same to you. What’s one thing that people should know about Jalen Hurts they might not know?
AJ BROWN: He’s really intentional…
