Ohio State has hired Morgan Phillips as a director of recruiting and special events, a school spokesperson confirmed Thursday.
She replaces Erin Dunston, the Buckeyes’ former director of on-campus recruiting who left earlier this summer to become Michigan’s director of operations after three years with the program.
Phillips had spent the past year as the recruiting operations coordinator at LSU and was previously part of the recruiting staff at Alabama, beginning as an intern in 2021.
The Tigers finished with the seventh-ranked recruiting class in the nation in 2024, signing 29 high school prospects, according to composite rankings compiled by 247Sports.

In her role at Ohio State, Phillips is expected to manage recruits’ official and unofficial visits to the school.
The Buckeyes host many of them during the spring and summer months, but also have them in attendance at games at Ohio Stadium.
They open their season against Akron on Aug. 31.
