MUSTANG — Here are three takeaways from Class 6A-I fifth-ranked Mustang’s 49-48 overtime victory against No. 9 Broken Arrow on Friday at Bronco Stadium.

Mustang 49, Broken Arrow 48 (OT)
Player of the game: Trajan Williamson. The Mustang senior quarterback had five touchdowns, four rushing and one through the air. He finished 13-of-25 passing for 233 yards and had 21 carries for 79 yards. He was crucial down the stretch, running for a 4-yard touchdown with 14 seconds left that tied it at 42 and scoring on a five-yard run in overtime.
Top moment: Broken Arrow quarterback Jeremiah Ssettimba threw a 7-yard touchdown to Dillon Hiller in overtime to cut Mustang’s lead to 49-48 before head coach Josh Blankenship elected to go for the 2-point conversion instead of kicking the extra point to go into a second overtime. Mustang’s defense pulled through in the clutch as Ssettimba kept the ball on a run to his right before he was met by linebacker Parker Sorrell at Mustang’s 1-yard line.
Latin Everheart, Jaden Johnson have strong performances for Mustang: Everheart, a senior running back, led Mustang’s rushing attack along with Williamson and finished with 23 carries for 133 yards and a touchdown. Johnson, a junior receiver, had six catches for 118 yards and a score.
