Three-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny is set to announce his commitment live on the 247Sports YouTube channel at 12:30 p.m. ET. Konanbanny, who ranks as the No. 43 cornerback in the Class of 2025, will choose between finalists Florida State and Tennessee.
A product of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, South Carolina, Konanbanny narrowed his focus to the Seminoles and the Vols out of a reported 43 scholarship offers. He took official visits to each of his two finalists over the summer. Konanbanny also took an official visit to LSU. In addition to his official visit slate, he was on Tennessee’s campus as an unofficial visitor multiple times throughout June and July.

The 6-foot-1 Konanbanny is still a raw football prospect. He was born in France and spent time living in London, England, where he played youth soccer, before moving to the United States in 2022.
According to 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins, Konanbanny possesses plenty of growth potential. Here’s his full scouting report:
Size has not been third-party verified, but in-person evaluations suggest that he’s over six feet and thick through the core. Displays explosive tendencies in the lower half while getting snaps on both defense and offense. Comfortable in press-man and will use his hands to redirect assignments.
