I love cupcakes.
You love cupcakes, but nobody loves a cupcake on the college football schedule.
So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at who avoided the sweet treats and has the biggest gauntlet going into this season from the schedule makers.
And that award clearly goes to Florida.
Not a great time to win that award for the Gators either because let’s be honest, Billy Napier, obviously, head coach on the hot seat expectations are high in Florida.
Not really sure how they’re gonna meet those expectations.
Now, with conference alignment, the SEC is even tougher and Florida fans might have to accept the fact that they’re just not as good as some of the other programs.
You can’t even outspend the programs that are ahead of you.
So the schedule is a huge part of it.
They have seven top 25 teams they’re gonna face, they have four top 15 teams away from home and a three game stretch that is brutal where they gotta take on Georgia, then they gotta take on Texas, then they gotta take on LSU, all of that together just piles up to what could be a very concerning season for a fan base that is tired of hearing excuses and doesn’t want patients.
Us c also in this, uh gauntlet as they have a brutal nonconference schedule.
Texas gonna join the SEC and they’re gonna have to go through it in the process.
This is going to be a wild year because you look at some of these schedules and you start thinking about how balanced they are across the board.
Do we judge everybody the same way, man.
It’s gonna be tough for some juggernaut blue chip programs to find a way to separate.
